Filmmaker Stephen King is in the process of filming his next horror movie, "Individual Investors With A Brain." It is scheduled for release within the next six months.
It is rumored to be the first horror movie where the viewers root for the bad guys, the educated investor. In all seriousness we have definitely gotten ourselves in a very world encompassed embarrasing situation. We have been the envy of many around the world for numerous reasons, too many to mention but the main one that jumps to mind is our ability to govern expeditously for the common good of the republic.
These board members, preffered stock holders, biased business reporters, CEOs, analysts, etc. have become our new world ambassadors of who we are, what we stand for and at what price. We have managed to disrupt and distort what it took many great individuals centuries to build. I was taught as a kid to always try to land on the side of Right and treat people how I wanted to be treated. The integrity metric for running a corporation isn't that complicated or require some significant degree from a centenary.
We chose these individuals to become leaders of corporations for a reason, because of their lack of confidence, ethical decision making, lack of leadership skills, lazy, good ole boy, entertainer, etc. The perfect figure heads with the utmost lack for salesmanship. I believe the current leaders when they testify and say they didn't have a clue or the business plan is to give us more money. What were the expectations in the first place and who set the structure/oversight?
To simplify the situation of the market and our economical horizon I'll put it in this metaphor.
What happens to a marriage when trust, integrity, transparency, protection, regulation and betrayal has manifested? Which one of these mentioned entities are more challenging to restore and which can never be restored?
I'm saving my capital for the upcoming release of the Horror Movie, Individual Investors With A Brain. Mr. Icahn you are definitely in a position to mend the fences and restore security to the household before the individual investors file for divorce from these folding chair robber barons.
God Bless America!!
